The Bar Association bid farewell to Hon’ble Mr. Justice P. D. Kode who was retiring as a Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay after a long and illustrious judicial career (firstly as a District Judge and then as a Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay). President Dr. Milind Sathe, Senior Advocate, recounted the high points of the learned Judge’s career. Dr. Birendra Saraf, the Hon’ble Secretary, in lighter vein said that Justice Kode might now find some time to watch Hindi movies and play video games which he said to be very fond of. Justice Kode addressed the members of the bar. He expressed happiness that despite having not dealt with much work on the original side, the members of the Bombay Bar Association had gathered to bid him farewell. The members thanked Justice Kode and wished him good luck and good health.
