Considering the growing importance of the capital markets and the legal regime governing the same, the Bombay Bar Association organized a workshop on laws relating to stock markets, SEBI and SAT
The Association organized a farewell tea party for Hon’ble Mr. Justice P. V. Hardas on his retirement as a judge of the Bombay High Court
A workshop was organized by the Bombay Bar Association on stress, its effects and management.
The new re-designed website of the BBA was inaugurated and launched by Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. M. Jamdar on 23rd April, 2015. The architect of the website, Mr. Prateek Seksaria then gave a demonstration of the website. The Bombay Bar Association has also its official facebook which posts the notices of the Bombay Bar Association
The advocates who practice primarily on the original side do not get much exposure to the criminal justice delivery system. A workshop was held in order to meet the need to familiarize the members with criminal law and the criminal justice administration.
Considering the relevance, complexity and importance of the laws relating to town planning, a workshop on “Town Planning & Development Control Regulations” was organised.
The Bar Association bid farewell to Hon’ble Mr. Justice P. D. Kode who was retiring as a Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay
The Bombay Bar Association felicitated Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.F. Nariman on his elevation as the Judge of the Supreme Court of India
For the benefit of the junior members of the Bar, a workshop was organised on the law of writs.
The members welcomed and congratulated the Hon’ble Justice Shri. C. V. Bhadang, Hon’ble Justice Ku. I. K. Jain and Hon’ble Justice Dr. (Smt.) Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi on their appointment
A dinner was organised to felicitate the senior members for having completed 50 years at the bar, Mr. Sunil V. Manohar, Senior Advocate, for his appointment as the Advocate General of Maharashtra and Mr. Anil C. Singh, Senior Advoctate, for his appointment as the Additional Solicitor General of India.
The members bid an extremely emotional and warm farewell to Hon’ble Mr. Justice S. J. Vazifdar.

The new Standing Committee of the Bar Association organized its first workshop in the Workshop/Lecture series which was a workshop on “Evidence in Civil Trials”
In an endeavor to promote an academic exchange between the members of the Bar, the Bombay Bar Association commenced a lecture /workshop series on various legal issues and subjects.
Hon’ble Bombay High Court has formed a committee to streamline the entire filing process, right from the filing of various proceedings till the registration thereof and had invited the inputs from the members of the Bar in that regard.
The Bombay Bar Association lost a very respected and esteemed member Mr. G.E. Vahanvati, the former Attorney General of India and also the former Advocate General of Maharashtra
